As a former middle school teacher and current full-time professor and best-selling author, I’m a big believer in empowering students (and teachers) through the power of creativity. Whether you sign up for one of my online courses, enroll in one of my cohorts or invite me to spend time with your staff, I promise you’ll walk away with a fresh perspective and new ideas to transform your classroom.
The following are some of the most frequent questions people ask me.
Q: Where should I get started with design thinking? How do I fit it into my curriculum?
A: If you’re interested in getting started on design thinking, I would recommend the Design Thinking Toolkit. For a more in-depth look at Design Thinking, you can check out my book Launch or take my Design Thinking Master Course.
Q: Can I get a copy of one of your videos? Can I use your videos in a presentation?
A: If you’re interested in the sketch animation video prompts, you can download them here. In terms of presentations, I am generally fine with you using one of my videos. However, I would ask that you give me attribution (credit) and I would love to hear about it ahead of time.
Q: Where do I get started with Genius Hour?
For an in-depth look, I would check out A.J. Juliani’s course. You can also check out the videos I created for Genius Hour.
Q: How do you make sketch videos?
A: This is one of the most frequent questions I get and I totally love it! I actually have a free download you can check out with instructions on how to do sketch animation videos with students. You can check it out here.
Q: Do you do sponsored posts? Do you have advertisements on your blog?
A: I have never done a sponsored post. I am open to partnering with certain companies but so far it really hasn’t happened.
